OUR APPROACH TO PROBLEM PESTS
WITH MORE THAN 85 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, WE BELIEVE IN PROCESS
Step 1: Local Experts
You’re probably familiar with national names like Orkin and Terminix … but when it comes to pest control, Ohio’s born-and-bred ScherZinger should be your trusted partner. Exterminators from national companies may not be as equipped or as knowledgeable about what pests affect our homes and local businesses here the most. ScherZinger has served Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, Columbus and the surrounding areas since 1934 – that’s more than 85 years of serious hometown bug expertise. We know the local landscape extremely well and are uniquely attuned to what to look for – common bugs, rodents and pests in these Midwest areas don’t stand a chance against us.
Step 2: Pest Control Pioneers
Effective and efficient pest control are priorities at ScherZinger. We strongly emphasize engineering new standards for ways of eliminating and controlling bugs and pests. As researchers, we work with the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the Ohio Pest Management Association and industry-leading manufacturers to help develop integrated methods for safely managing pests. One such method is our signature bed bug solution, Heatigation™, which has proven to be a giant step above traditional methods. The one-day controlled heat treatment kills all stages of bed bugs, from egg to adult, in every corner and crevice. Heatigation™ uses environmentally safe measures to remove the bugs.
Our Guardian Program guards your home, attacking and repelling bugs outside before they have a chance to invade. Highly trained technicians apply treatments seasonally in concentrated, specific areas. In addition, the protection program reduces the insect population around your home and creates a barrier from intruders. The results? Fewer applications, year-round protection and peace of mind.
Step 3: We’re a Team
Choose ScherZinger and you’ll be paired with a dedicated, state-certified ScherZinger team member who offers a personal touch. He or she will know you by name and know the history of your home, as well as take time to listen to your pest concerns and provide reassurance along the way. Not only are ScherZinger technicians dependable, but their first priority is protecting your home.
Step 4: Giving Back
Supporting our community is important to ScherZinger – we’re neighbors after all. With deep roots in Ohio, we believe it is paramount for the success of all to contribute to the support and growth of our hometown and its surrounding neighborhoods. Each year we partner with the Krohn Conservatory to plant a beautiful butterfly garden outside (it’s also an official way station for monarch butterflies) – and have been doing so for 25 years. We also volunteer through community outreach days and participate in school education programs, as well as volunteer with the Special Olympics.
